Write Action is pleased to announce the winners in its annual contest in poetry and prose. This year's judge for poetry was Chard deNiord, judge for prose was Deborah Lee Luskin.
Not usually given as part of the contest, the judges had so many strong entries this year that they saw fit to give Honorable Mentions.
The Youth category did not have enough entrants to warrant the awarding of prizes this year. However, Olivia Howe was given a Special Mention in prose for three beautifully written short short stories: "Crows" "Nails" "Woods Walk. "
